WebP to JPG

Saved a picture from a website and got a .webp file that won’t open or upload? Add it here and download a JPG that works everywhere. Your images stay on your device.

Your files are processed on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and once you’ve added your first file it keeps working in flight mode.

How to convert WebP to JPG

  1. Tap "Add photos" or drop your WebP images onto the box. JPG is already chosen.
  2. Tap Convert.
  3. Download each image, or all of them as one ZIP file.

Good to know

Many websites send their pictures as WebP because the files are small. Some older programs, printers and upload forms don’t accept WebP, while JPG works everywhere.

Any see-through parts of a WebP image become white in the JPG. To keep them, choose PNG instead.

Questions

Why won’t my WebP file open?

Some older apps and programs can’t read WebP. As a JPG it opens on every phone and computer, and every website accepts it.

Can I convert WebP to PNG instead?

Yes. Choose PNG under "Convert to". PNG keeps any see-through parts.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes, up to 4 at a time without an account, each up to 10 MB, and download them together in one ZIP file.

Are my images uploaded?

No. They are converted by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
