Good to know

Bates numbers give every page of a set of documents its own reference, so anyone can point to "ACME000042". The numbers run on from one PDF to the next, in the order of the list, and each PDF is named with its first and last number.

Check the preview before you download: Bates numbers can’t be changed once they’re on the pages.

A line such as CONFIDENTIAL or EXHIBIT A can go on every page too.

Bates numbers on up to 50 pages at a time are free. Plus and Enterprise number any number of pages.
