JPEG to JPG

JPEG and JPG are the same format with two names, but some upload forms only accept files ending in .jpg. Add your .jpeg or .jfif photos and download them as .jpg. Nothing is uploaded.

Your files are processed on this device, and nothing is uploaded. Once the tool has finished your first file, it keeps working in airplane mode. Check it yourself

How to convert JPEG to JPG

  1. Tap "Choose photos" or drop your .jpeg or .jfif files onto the box. JPG is already chosen.
  2. Tap Convert.
  3. Download each photo, or all of them as one ZIP file.

Good to know

Older Windows computers saved JPG photos with the ending .jpeg, and some browsers save pictures from websites as .jfif. The picture inside is the same kind, but a form that checks the ending may refuse it.

The photo is saved again as a high-quality JPG with the .jpg ending, turned the right way up if it was taken sideways. Renaming the file yourself also works on many computers; this is the safe way when renaming isn’t possible, such as on a phone.
