Convert PowerPoint to PDF

Add a PowerPoint presentation and download it as a PDF, one page per slide. The work happens on your device: nothing is uploaded.

Your files are processed on this device, and nothing is uploaded. Once the tool has finished your first file, it keeps working in airplane mode. Check it yourself

How to convert PowerPoint to PDF

  1. Tap "Choose a PowerPoint file" or drop a .pptx file onto the box.
  2. The first time, your browser downloads the converter from our site, once. After that it starts right away.
  3. Tap "Download PDF" and check it before you send it.

Good to know

Each slide becomes a page of the PDF, the same shape as the slide, with its text, pictures, shapes, tables, slide master and background. Hidden slides are left out. The text in the PDF is real text, so it can be searched and copied.

A PDF can’t play, so animations, transitions, videos and sound are left out: each slide is shown as it looks at the end. PowerPoint’s Calibri is replaced by Carlito, a free look-alike with the same letter widths, so text wraps as it does in PowerPoint.

It takes .pptx files, the format PowerPoint has used since 2007, including files saved from Google Slides, LibreOffice and Keynote. The converter runs in your browser; it is downloaded from our site once and then works offline. Your presentation is never uploaded.

Questions

Will the PDF look like my slides?

Close to it: text, pictures, shapes, tables and backgrounds are laid out as on the slide. Charts, SmartArt and unusual fonts may look a little different, so check the PDF before you send it.

Is my presentation uploaded?

No. Your browser converts it on your device, so it stays with you. The first time, the converter itself is downloaded from our site.

Can I convert a .ppt file?

Not directly. Open it in PowerPoint, choose File, Save As, PowerPoint Presentation (.pptx), then convert the .pptx file.

Can I convert Google Slides?

Yes. In Google Slides, choose File, Download, Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx), then add that file here.

Are the speaker notes included?

No, only the slides, as when PowerPoint saves a PDF of the slides.
