Merge PDF files

Add your PDFs, put them in the order you want, and tap Merge to get one PDF. Your files stay on your device: nothing is uploaded.

Your files are processed on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and once you’ve added your first file it keeps working in flight mode.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Tap "Add PDFs" or drop your files onto the box.
  2. Use the arrows to put the files in the order you want.
  3. Tap Merge, then Download to save the combined PDF.

Good to know

Merging joins whole PDF files one after the other. Every page keeps its original quality, size and links, because the pages are copied, not re-printed.

This works in your browser using your own phone or computer, so even large or private documents (contracts, statements, ID copies) are never sent to anyone. Once you’ve added your files, you can even switch on flight mode and it still works.

Questions

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

Free, without an account: up to 4 PDFs at a time, each up to 10 MB. Free accounts, coming soon, will take 20 PDFs of up to 100 MB each. Very large jobs work best on a computer, because they use your device’s memory.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The files are read and joined by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers or anyone else’s.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. Remove the password first with our Unlock PDF tool (you’ll need the password), then merge.

Will the merged PDF lose quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable.
