Add a password-protected PDF, type its password, and download a copy that opens without one. Your PDF and the password stay on your device.

Your files are processed on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and once you’ve added your first file it keeps working in flight mode.

Good to know

Handy for bank statements and payslips that arrive password-protected, so you can merge, compress or sign them without typing the password every time.

You need to know the password: this tool removes it, it doesn’t guess it. Some PDFs only block printing or copying and open without a password; those are unlocked without one. Only unlock PDFs you have the right to use.
