How to make an India visa photo
- "India: visa (online form)" is already chosen.
- Add a photo taken against a plain light-coloured or white wall.
- Drag and zoom so the top of the head and the chin touch the two lines.
- Tap "Make my photos", then download the 800 × 800 online form version and upload it to the form.
Good to know
The online form version is 800 × 800 pixels and saved under 290 KB, inside the form’s limits of 350 to 1,000 pixels and 300 KB. The rules come from the Consulate General of India in Milan’s page on the online visa form; check the page of the mission or visa service you apply through.
An Indian passport is different: at Passport Seva Kendras your photo is taken at the office, so you don’t need to bring one.
